Azad Kashmir Camp
At Rehabilitation Response, we believe mobility is a fundamental right, not a privilege. That’s why we proudly support the SMCDA (PWS) Azad Kashmir Camp in Pakistan — an initiative dedicated to restoring independence and dignity to individuals in need of artificial limbs and prosthetics.
Our role is to ensure they have the resources, equipment, and funding required to deliver comprehensive care — from pre-prosthetic preparation to lifelong rehabilitation support.
Pre-Prosthetic Care:
Through our funding and donations, the SMDCDA team in Pakistan is able to offer:
Initial Consultations: Conducted by qualified doctors, assessing patients’ unique needs and determining the best prosthetic solutions based on lifestyle, limb condition, and rehabilitation goals.
Residual Limb Preparation: With the help of our resources, patients receive wound care guidance, desensitization techniques, and physiotherapy tools to prepare for prosthetic use.
Prosthetic Fitting & Rehabilitation:
Thanks to your support, we help the team on the ground to:
Fabricate Custom Sockets: Using materials and tools we help supply, prosthetists create comfortable, personalized sockets with precision.
Provide a Range of Prosthetic Options: From basic mobility devices to more advanced, functional prosthetics — selected according to each individual’s lifestyle and needs.
Deliver Rehabilitation Programs: Your contributions empower therapists to offer guided sessions focused on gait training, strength building, and confidence restoration.
Long-Term Follow-Up and Support:
Our partnership doesn’t end at fitting a prosthesis. Through continuous financial aid and equipment delivery, Rehabilitation Response ensures:
Routine Checkups
Adjustments & Maintenance
Patient Education on Long-Term Prosthesis Care
Be the Link Between Despair and Dignity
Your donations and support allow Rehabilitation Response to bridge the gap between limited access and life-changing rehabilitation. Every contribution helps someone in Pakistan walk again, live again, and hope again.
